If you have any photos you'd like to contribute to add to the record of the weekend, please feel free to send them to Eugenia.

Friday 3rd April

Participants gathered in Sidgwick Hall, Newnham College from 5pm onwards.  Registration was carried out by Sally Lowe and Lori Colliander, from DPMMS, with Tom Leinster signing people up for Saturday dinner sittings.  Tea, coffee and biscuits were served.

At around 7pm we walked over to Gonville and Caius College for dinner.  Fortunately it wasn't raining.

Drinks were served in the White Room and Lord Colyton Hall, two of the Senior Combination Rooms.

Dinner was served in the College Hall.

The College Grace was said by Eugenia.

After dessert, Dana Scott proposed a toast to Martin and Peter.  There were some spontaneous response "speeches" by Peter Johnstone, Martin Hyland, Sally Lowe, Bill Lawvere, Chris Mulvey and Ronnie Brown.

After dinner, a few people gathered in the College bar for further drinks.

Saturday 4th April

Participants began gathering at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences at around 9am.

The first session was chaired by Andy Pitts.

The second session was chaired by Andrea Schalk, and was preceded by a video message from Audrey Tan (former student of Martin) from New Zealand.

We then had lunch in Newnham College.  The weather was fine, so we were able to walk around or have coffee in the gardens after lunch.

The third session was chaired by Valeria de Paiva, and was preceded by a video message from Selwyn Blieden (former student of Peter) from South Africa.

At the beginning of the coffee break the sun was still shining so we took the opportunity of having the group photo, taken by Jürgen Koslowski in front of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences.

The fourth session was chaired by Wesley Phoa, and was preceded by a video message from Sean Carmody (former student of Martin) from Australia.

In the evening there were two sittings of dinner at La Tasca, in the city centre.

Sunday 5th April

The fifth session was chaired by Edmund Robinson.

The sixth session was chaired by Steve Lack, via video link from Sydney!

The seventh and final session was chaired by Anders Kock, and was preceded by a video message from Craig Snydal (former student of Martin) from the US.

After a final session of coffee in the Central pavilion of the CMS, Martin and Peter hosted a party in Peter's rooms in St John's College.
